MISSION DESCRIPTION: As its name implies, this professional, multifaceted, self-contained unit operates deep inside the aural groove of classic and modern music, to cover a wide range of the most popular and exciting songs ever recorded. This funky red-hot band sets the standard among cover bands in the TRI-STATE Area. Deep Cover Groove captures the essence of every style of American music; from funk to blazing rock jams to rump shakin R&B. The Deep Cover Groove crew can kick out the hip-hop beats and smooth things out with classic romance ballads. Unparalleled in the realm of live musical performance, Deep Cover's upbeat and lively set compliments the festive mood of any event.

MISSION AIM: Deep Cover was formed in July 1998. Its founder and team leader Harvey Morris' vision of a community-minded positive musical force became a reality when he assembled some of the most accomplished and talented musicians in the business.

Acquiring vocalists and sidemen from musical giants such as Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Freddie Jackson, The Black Rock Coalition, and Mary J. Blige, Harvey Morris soon set the stage for a relentlessly soulful powerhouse of a group able to tailor its groove for any function. Weddings, Mitzvahs, club dates, Anniversaries or Corporate events, Deep Cover Groove's personification is in such high demand that it has been heard at some of the hottest venues. Oh! Let’s not forget that in addition to being one of the hottest bands in the Tri-State area this band has a life line to the community and has done various charity and community events.
